Fish stocking tug barge Black River

Fish Spawning Bed Construction, the Black River & Chaumont Bay, NY

Using our Trimble® GPS equipped long reach excavator we placed approximately 6,000 tons of stone in the Black River and Chaumont Bay to create fish spawning beds. The target species for Chaumont Bay are lake whitefish and cisco fish, both of which are prey fish, and in Black River the target species are lake sturgeon and walleye.

Using excavators aboard our sectional barges we demolished a deteriorated boat house in Cape Vincent, NY. The debris was later disposed of at a designated upland disposal site.

Using excavators aboard our sectional barges we demolished a deteriorated crib dock at Waterson Point, Wellesley Isl. The debris was later disposed of at a designated landfill.
